Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of CMMS Pro and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. It exists to protect the Service, our users, and the public. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms. We may update this AUP at any time.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to, and not to allow any Authorized User or third party to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying ideas, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties outside your organization;
  • circumvent seat limits, authentication, rate limits, or other access or usage controls;
  • access or use the Service to build or benchmark a competing product or service;
  • use automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting except via interfaces we expressly authorize;
  • impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

3. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, store, or transmit through the Service any content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or threatening;
  • contains malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • contains sensitive personal data you are not authorized to process, or that you lack a lawful basis to provide;
  • violates the privacy or data-protection rights of any individual;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary right.

You are solely responsible for your Customer Data and for ensuring you have all rights and consents necessary to submit it.

4. System & Network Security

You must not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach security or authentication measures; access data not intended for you; interfere with service to any user, host, or network; or forge headers or manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content or request. We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement.

5. Data & Privacy Responsibilities

If your Customer Data includes personal data of your employees, contractors, or third parties, you are responsible for providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents. Our processing of such data on your behalf is governed by the Data Processing Addendum.

6. Enforcement

We may, with or without notice, investigate violations and remove or disable content, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. We are not liable for any such action taken in good faith. Repeated or severe violations may result in immediate termination without refund.
